Correct flexed pasterns in newborn calf
Fully adjustable and reusable. Specifically designed to correct the flexed pastern in the newborn calves. Also known as knuckling over of front feet. Temporary correction for contracted tendons. Splints provide support to allow the calf to put weight on the affected legs. This allows for exercise. Walking then stretches the tendons and the calf will often heal itself. Splints should be checked a couple times a day to insure they are not rubbing sores on skin. Calf can move about freely while wearing splint. Eliminates casting and taping. Made of washable tough nylon and durable molded ABS material, complete with built-in padding and VELCRO® brand hook and loop securing straps.
