For treating vaginal prolapse in ewes. Push prolapse in and put retainer in place, close to the rectum. Ends of the retainer can be tied to tags of wool. Retainer can be left in place as long as needed. Ewe can lamb normally with device in place.
Vaginal prolapses appear as a pink or red mass protruding from the vagina. Prolapses may appear when the ewe is laying down, but disappear when she stands.
Consult vet for further instructions.
Antibiotics may be needed.
