Babson Surge Alamo Vacuum Pumps
For Surge Alamo vacuum pumps used in dairy barns and milking systems. This is a common pump sold from the 1950s to 1999. These were primarily installed with bucket systems or very small 2 cow pipeline systems.
The Alamo 40 had a 2 hp motor mounted on a horizontal stand.
The Alamo 30 had a 1.75 motor mounted on a vertical stand.
The pump body is about 5 inches wide and the vanes measure 4 inches long.

Rebuild kits only fit the Alamo 40 (550).
Vanes fit both models.
Major rebuild kit includes 4 high quality long life Kevlar vanes, 1 double row bearing, 1 needle bearing and race, 1 shaft seal, shims and 2 o-rings for later model end plates. Minor rebuild kit includes 4 high quality long life Kevlar vanes, 1 double row bearing, 1 needle bearing, 1 shaft seal, shims and 2 o-rings for later model end plates. (this kit does not have the race)

Replacement oiler system available for Model 40. The model 30 pumps had a single oiler and sealed bearings. Rubber exhaust flapper available above. Support for exhaust flapper at link below. Replacement pump pulley available. Complete rebuilt assembly available.
